‘Masks of Light’, is the latest project and AV set created exclusively by Aszyk.
It has been put together after several years of crafting and tinkering with different visual styles and processes to create a set of visuals that stand out from other visual sets.
‘Masks of Light’ takes the viewer through a series of abstract landscapes, changing the mood along with the music. Throughout the set, intricate, pattern-like creatures appear in time with the music, pulsing and evolving in a hypnotic way.
Technically, the set has been pushing the fringes of AV syncing - using a variety of methods from standard MIDI through to more complex OSC routings to get all the elements to sync perfectly when they hit the beat or rise up to a drop.
The result is something that is dazzling both visually and audibly - a set that demands attention through it’s boldness. Oh and look out for the BirdMask too..
