I agree, but that's common issue with hype around new technologies. Playing music from iphone which sounds like really nothing special, big multitouch screens which have latency like snailsex - and only value of this kind of projects is because they are "for iphone", "multitouch" etc

However I see this particular concept really interesting as I think it could be done in realtime as well.
