AV PROJECT MANAGER
Based in South East London
Salary based upon experience.

Inspiration, technical expertise and service excellence have achieved Accredited Supplier status for the company in over 30 select London venues.
Were currently looking for an Audio Visual project manager to join our busy AV department. You will be based in our London office, managing and co-ordinating a number of events on a day to day basis along with working with various Production designers on larger events. This is a very social role and involves constant liaison with production designers, clients, venues, freelancers and Londons event suppliers.
The ideal candidate for this role will be either experienced in AV project management/coordination or an experienced AV engineer who feels they are confident enough to project manage numerous events on any given day, liase with clients and provide technical, creative and event support to a busy Event Production company.
The successful candidate will have to display an excellent understanding of the AV and Events industry and have a minimum of 24 months experience in either the project management and coordination of, or, installation and operation of, all aspects of audio visual equipment in the live events realm, particularly conferences and wide screen video.
They are expected to hit the ground running, be able to work under pressure, be outgoing, client facing, have a can do attitude, be forward thinking and have a very good technical understanding.
Reporting to the Head of AV your key areas of responsibility will be:
To support the Head of AV in day to day operations and project coordination/management
To provide technical AV support and quotations to the Production Teams
To liaise between the AV Dept, Production & Operation Teams and Warehouse regarding AV equipment and crew requirements
To liase with clients, venues, agencies, artists, production houses as required
To represent the company with site meetings, supplier liaison and events operation when required
Managing specialist suppliers to include rigging, set & stage etc
To manage event budgets accordingly
Manage and organise a busy workload with daily, weekly and
monthly tasks
Demonstrate a clear understanding of our project processes and
systems
Essential requirements:
A very good Technical understanding of Audio & Video equipment including project management, installation and operation of brands such as D&B, Yamaha, Panasonic, Barco, Christie etc
Experience and knowledge of large scale projection, conferences, Mac & VT playback
Good understanding of MS Office
Project management and coordination
Excellent communication skills
Client liaison skills
Team player
Enthusiasm & energy and a Can do attitude
Desirable :
Experience of LED displays, media servers and video processing systems such as Encore, spyder etc
Knowledge of WYSIWYG and AutoCAD
Experience of Londons events industry and suppliers
Media content production
Experience of Rental Point software
Drivers License
You must be able to start June 2010
