Recover from the Easter holidays with a soothing dose of live visuals at the cosy Roxy Bar and Screen. Electrovision will present performances by Silent Eclipse, Sculpture, Overlap and Fade in Fade out.
Using their gorgeous retro-style aesthetic, Sculpture perform visuals using zoetrope record decks, tape loops, cassettes, samples, and lo-fi electronic noise, cross-fertilizing analogue and digital techniques to generate mind-bending sonic and visual collages.
Combining their electro-indie-rave sound with their trademark experimental motion graphics, the London AV duo 'Fade In Fade Out' will rock the dance floor and the screen.
Groundbreaking sampling VJ and film researcher, Silent Eclipse is going to perform her VJ-film 'Isintu', a cultural history of capitalism from 1900 to the present day with echoes of history from the past 500 years.
Overlap will take us on a musical and visual journey through dream like locations populated by obscure archive characters playfully mixed to atmospheric electronica.
