how much it cost u guys last year roughly for accom/ travel/ expenses?

accomodation - free for performing artist, however expect to share room with 3-8 other people (festival artists)

flights - something around 100 pounds as far I remember

expenses - depends how funny you want to be

I was thinking a day or two ago "I wonder if I can get some sort of government grant to represent Australia at LPM again this year..."


Meanwhile, Prick's humour can come across as a bit dry, but also cheeky. Perhaps he is a wine. I don't think he can help being funny. Those weird hats...


Also, re: accommodation: the place we stayed at was nice enough. Clean, filled with VerminJ's (not too many others to bother us / be bothered). Something about the neighbours though... had to be quiet at night.

In all, you probably won't spend much time at the accommodation for you to be too worried about it.

I may be performing at the Hay Festival on that weekend, will be doing an AV show with Jazz trombonist Dennis Rollins...

seems like London will be really well represented again... only few days left to subscribe. Everyone undecided, consider it again. Rome is sunny, fun, inspiring and overall definitely place to be.

I'd like to come back to London for a bit, and to LPM, but to do so would be a dangerous financial move... so it now seems I'll be forgoing my return (to London) air ticket to save from disaster.
