TextMachine 3D hangs on start on Windows 7

TextMachine 3D V8 and V9 Build <= 1049 hangs on start on Windows 7

The Splashscreen freezes displaying "User Interface Colors (File/Folder)"


Reason:
----------------------
Reason for this error is the missing component Flash10c.ocx on Windows 7.


Resolution:
----------------------

1) Download the Flash10c.ocx component here:
http://sartori-software.net/TextMachine3D/Content/Downloads/Flash10c.zip

2) Copy Flash10c.ocx and Flash10c.oca to your Windows\System Folder.

3) Start TextMachine 3D

If this does not solve your Problem, go online, download and Install:

Adobe Flash Player 10

An update of TextMachine 3D V9 Projection Mapping Feature is available:

1) Freeze/ Unfreeze Projection Map Grid Points.
2) Tesselate automatically a Projection Map Grid to minimize texture distortion.
3) Increase quality of a Projection Map Grid by doubling its Grid Points.
4) Full Mask Inversion
5) Masked Projection Map Background Rendering

Format: AVI, 25 fps 1024 x 768, 10 sec., Indeo Video 5.10 codec.
All clips are free of charge.



2) Updated TextMachine 3D V9 - Version 9.0.0.1151 is available for download.
Bug-Fixed FreeFrame installation and behaviour.

This codec is dead, because of license issues. At the moment is just trouble, nothing more.

I personally use motion jpeg.

I don't know if you find any with license suitable for your case, however Indeo Video is definitly dead.

DXV seems like a good option as it was developed by VJs for VJs however you have to make sure about license...
