Helping to kick-start the new year, Electrovision is back with a brand new set of audio-visual treats on Saturday the 23rd of January. Our line-up of multimedia artists will bring live video and audio into synch across three projection screens. Come prepared for groundbreaking performances by Echaskech, Max Hattler, MOTORSAW and decolage.tv.
Experiencing Echaskech play live will change your expectations of what an electronic act can achieve in a performance. Their unique style of melodic dance rhythms blends a spectrum of flavours from the warm chord progressions of Brian Eno and Ulrich Schnauss to the filthy subs of Modeselektor.... all strung together within a seamlessly building set that is seductive and uplifting to the point of air punching euphoria. All this will be accompanied by MachV's wonderfull visuals, which are Loopy and Cinematic while mixed with photographic concepts, travelling shots and obsure details.
Moving image experimentalists Max Hattler will present his new live animation performance /\/\/\ in collaboration with Noriko Okaku and featuring live audio by Rich Keyworth. His visuals are specifically designed to work with Electrovisions video setup, creating a seamless and unique projection on each of the three screens.
Especially travelling from Denmark for their performance is MOTORSAW (Sune Peterson) and Schmid (Jakob Schmid) for their unique fusion of video feedback techniques and dubstep. Sune has programmed his own software for generating the most unbelievably beautiful and captivating visuals. He is a true master of feedback.
The internationally active Austrian video design duo decolage.tv will present their abstract, organic and accidental visuals set to a lucious live performance of ambient and electronica by InputJunkie. decollage.tv has over 7 years of experience in video design and live visual performances beside international DJ superstars. Their work is influenced by their broad knowledge and strong backgrounds in architecture and industrial design, which are inseparably connected to the visual experience.
