Hi all as the end of the year roles in, just thought it might be nice to share some of the highlights and low lights of this crazy vj world.
High of 2009 - visiting some of theyears festivals to see how the vj world is being embraced also catching up with other vjs work - you know who you are pushing the boundaries is getting even more exciting role on 2010.
Low - getting a gig abroad where a club owner had spent money on putting in screens and equipment (so could go with hand luggage rather than a suitcase of wires) cancelling three gigs to do it and then getting a phone call the day before to be told the club owner had decided to use the vj money to pay for dancing girls and would just play the clubs logo on screens. Very frustring lost gigs and a bit of motavation, when will people learn you cant push it without breaking the mould.
