canon 5d

since borrowing a 5D for electrovision this weekend i am completely taken with this camera. the footage looks just so wonderful.

The 5D is a great camera and the videos look awesome!

But what about the new 7D?

It doesn't have a full frame sensor, but it's cheaper, has a more modern auto focus and metering system and less rolling shutter effect according to tests.

yes 7D looks good. i just played with both of them. i get the feeling the 7D is considerably more noisy at the same light level. that would be my main concern. would be nice to find a side by side video test.
