well, im new here.. I am really keen to become a VJ and hope you can help. I have always been very passionate about music and art.. studied art in college, did Media Arts for degree, which was basically a degree in short films and more on the experimental side.. I loved this, and really excelled, I produced some really unique style work and would love to be able to focus on this side of video again... I have since graduating worked in jobs that just dont suit me.. much less creative, and its not what I want to do anymore.. I love the idea of becoming a VJ, because my videos are much more experimental and dont really fit into other genres.. I so much want to work with clubs, theatres, and other artists, is it really possible to make a career out of this.. I am starting to feel like Im throwing my life down the pan because I need to get some of this creativity out.. have gone back to painting and commercial videography for now, but this is not for me - Please help my become a VJ !!!
I have a full editing set up - and am an experienced video editor, but dont understand the whole aspect of live work... how / what software, how much would a full set up cost.. any advice and I will be so grateful...
