Visual Artist needed for private party

Hi

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. I am going to hire a large Blank canvas white space in central london. This is going to be for my wedding reception / Party. I remember fondly my trance days's and espieally the amazing work the VJ's did. I have a idea of trying to create in one or two of the spaces a visual view of london at night / amd in other parts of the space visuals of the two of us freinds / parties etc, plus some visuals for the dancing after. Its quite a large space, so artists are going to love what the can do with it.

Very open to peoples ideas, but one thought i did have was for the formal meal to have the walls surrouned in Day views of lonond, which then fads into night so people think they are outside when eating....

Sounds like a nice reception to be invited to!...

Maybe give a hint about the timescale. Part of what you want sounds a bit like an installation -- custom content for a particular space, and not really for music -- which is (in my view) quite different to most VJing.

That isn't to say VJs can't do it and/or wouldn't be interested, and there are people who aren't just (or even!) VJs lurking about here as well...

Also, I haven't heard of anyone at the vjLonon meetings who is (specifically) in to trance. I'm assuming you mean psytrance, and from what I've seen at a few psy parties, their visuals are a whole different world! I know a psy VJ who I met on new years; he had gosh-gorgeous videos playing, and I learned that he playes gigs like Glastonbury... I have to leave the UK (end of my visa) in a couple of months, but I could put you in touch with this guy if you are interested.
