Double room upstairs in massive warehouse space in clapton available from end January/ beginningFebruary. Upstairs Consists of 6 bedrooms, openplan kitchen and living space. Downstairs is shared creative/work space with mezzzanine hotdesk available for computer graphics/ editing work etc.
Rent is Ł430 a month not incl. bills. Bills tend to vary but are split also between creatives using only downstairs workspace so they tend not to be very much. (split 10 ways, usually)
The house operates a NO TV policy. You'd be welcome to have one in your room of course, or to watch a film on our projector, but dont expect to be sitting down to eastenders in the living space The living space has a house computer available to anyone who wiches to use it, and uber-fast wireless broadband thoughout.
The house is within easy walking distance of Clapton rail station (Silverlink), which will take you to liverpool st in about 10 minutes. Also local bus services into hackney and beyond
The house is completely drama free with high levels of civility, good food, pleasant company, and the odd banging party. We believe in fine living and fine people, and any new housemate should be prepared to endure the odd night spent listening to good music and drinking fine wines. Expect regluar house meals, film nights on the projector, the occasional theatre/drama/poetry workshop downstairs, and shared food and alcohol.
The room is available for four months from 29th January (i am leaving to nepal to work at an orphanage), after which time the contract will expire, but can be renewed. this is something that can be discussed when it comes to it.
