The Astoria is an old cinema venue
Load in is via a hoist(!)
In house crew are very good
In house video consists of 2 projectors and screens either side of the stage. video tie-in line is BNC at front of house.
Stage is big for a club venue, lots of clearance ( we had a 5x4 meter LED screen on stage)
There are points above the stage for rigging (you'll need the house to supply a rigger to fly things other than on the in house trusses)
There is a grid truss above the dance floor and front mid and rear truss above the stage.
there are loads of stairs everywhere - you'll get fit going to the dressing rooms :)
