wanna go, but not sure how good the seats (very few left now) will be, any idea if right near front is ok? not visited the BFI IMAX before

I'm sat at the back, its a huge screen, sitting at the front might make you go blind!

only 4 seats left at the back (right in the corners) do I take a risk with my limited hard earned funds :? .. I'll post a reply IF i book, I'll be going on my own, so would be good to hook up with VJLondon folks.

I managed to snaffle a seat near the edge of the central section around halfway up (H25).

I also roped myself into a ticket the night before to see Nitin Sawney (G15) - opposite side of middle section, one row down. If that's a good experience then I'll be set for Saturday! :o)

Start is 20:45. Where and when do you want to meet beforehand (I don't know the area, so can make no suggestions!).

There is a nice bar attached to the BFI building which is right underneath Waterloo bridge, it looks out onto the river and has loads of outdoor and indoor tables. Usually is got a book fair right outside it on the riverside walkway.

I'm planning on getting down there around 3pm ish and going to have a look at some of the other stuff that is going on during the festival, maybe 7pm would be a good time to meet at the bar?

Some good news and some bad news, re:

Bad news first... discussion with flatmates after 5 blew out to around 3 hours. I was exhausted from not having slept for nearly 24 hours and crashed... left home arond 9:20 (the gig startd at 8:45...), it took nearly an hour to get to the auditorium (wtf?... waiting for bus.. waiting.. waiting... on the bus, bust stopped most of the time, waiting waiting...). Step into the theatre arond 10:20pm, show finishes before 10:30. Crap.

Good news, sitting at the back is perfectly fine.

Other good news.. saved the night from its depressing start by deciding to step in to T-Bar on my way home and dancing away the sadness. Total cost: zero. Tin of tomato soup from the servo on the way home: 75p. :o)
