Hello greater london, im moving up in a week to study video and interactive art at middlesex.
This forum is great for creating a community amongst artists and audiences, And spreading some light onto whats on where.

so any recommendations for performance spaces very north....barnet? im doubting they have a huge range of creative space.

Also where would you recommend a meeting point for club promoters, is there a site?

The best place to meet club promoters is http://www.dontstayin.com its one of the worst websites ever designed in terms of its architecture but its THE place for promoters.
No clues about performance spaces in Barnet.

i stay in when in comes to that site. your right its just wrong.
so what happens in the vjlondon meetups, performaces or just a drink and a chat?

the meet ups are drinks, chat, exchange of ideas, advice and people showing each other their work, toys etc. We usually have access to a projector.

I grew up in Barnet, and according to the tax man I live there... I work in Southampton so I spend a lot of time commuting and staying with friends.

As for performance spaces there isn't much. My advice is get on the tube and head into town.

Now why wasn't there a "video and interactive art" course around when I was studying in Sydney?... :o)
